In barely fifty years, the economy has seen major changes to mature into a dynamic, successful model that currently boasts the title of Scotland’s “first capital of enterprise” – not to mention home to the youngest population in the country.
Where the region goes from here is down to many factors – but West Lothian Chamber of Commerce is committed to helping influence decisions that will get our business community exactly what we need to thrive.
The Ambassador Programme aims to gather on board a committed team of people who can use their experience and skills to become 'Champions' for the area. We are actively seeking business ambassadors- people like YOU- who are passionate about West Lothian and what it has to offer, who want to be involved in steering the economic future of the region.
With this goal in mind, we are actively seeking ambassadors who will be able to help contribute to the future direction of West Lothian.
- Can you speak out on behalf of West Lothian at local, national and international level?
- Are you a decision maker who is willing to take risks in the name of successful business?
- Do you have the skills and advice that could be used in colleges and schools to educate West Lothian’s future businessmen and women?
The Ambassador Programme is open to you – whatever contribution you may be able to give. You can nominate yourself, colleagues or other community members. You stand to gain hugely at a personal level. But most of all, you will be helping to recognise achievement, celebrate success and promote endeavour in your business as well as beyond.
