West Lothian College have recently been developing their courses for the Food and Drink Manufacturing Industry in response to feed-back from manufacturers that there is a possible skills shortage within the industry.
The courses are National Progression Award (NPA) in Food Manufacture and HNC in Food Science and Technology.
Attendance at College will be dependent on employer demand, and this can be discussed with you. These qualifications are ideal for up-skilling or re-skilling of your staff.
The NPA course will take about 150 hours of study in College, and the HNC about 440 hours of study. Typically 1 day per week, 2 evenings per week, or 1 afternoon and one evening per week.
