Margaret Hodge Recruitment has once again named The Best Small Recruitment Consultancy in the S1 Jobs Recruitment Awards.
The Scottish based recruitment company scooped The Best Small Recruitment Consultancy award last year and were thrilled with the announcement that they have retained their title for 2013.

The Best Recruitment Consultancy categories of large and small  were voted for by Public and Corporate users of agency services on the S1 Jobs website. The judging panel announced that several agencies made the short list for the awards of Best Small Recruitment Consultancy, but the S1 Jobs users had the final say and crowned Margaret Hodge Recruitment ‘The Best Small Recruitment Consultancy in Scotland 2013’.

Margaret Hodge Recruitment’s Director, Linda Showler, expressed how important the award was to the Scottish based Recruitment Company: “To win this award once was wonderful; to win for a second time makes us very honoured to work with the Clients and Candidates who have voted for us and made this possible. We are extremely fortunate to have a very talented team who are so dedicated to delivering our service to such a high standard.”

Kirsten Showler, Managing Consultant at Margaret Hodge Recruitment, also came second in the Best Recruitment Consultant in Scotland category against a broad range of experienced Consultants from agencies including Nationals.

This was the second year of the S1 Job’s annual Recruitment Awards, which are held to celebrate and reward the creativity, talent, innovation and success of the Scottish Recruitment Industry.

The awards ceremony was held in the West End of Glasgow’s Oran Mor venue and was hosted by Scottish comedian Craig Hill, who entertained over 200 guests with some stand up comedy and a little dancing in his trademark kilt.  Craig rose to fame in 2005, after years of performing at the Edinburgh Festival, with his own Friday night BCC1 comedy show 'Craig Hill's Out Tonight'.

Attending the awards ceremony were some of the most prominent organisations operating in Scotland, such as City of Edinburgh Council, Renfrewshire Council, Arnold Clark Group, Glasgow Housing Association, TAQA Bratani and John Lewis; as well as Recruitment Consultancies from across Scotland.
