Harper Macleod launches Natural Futures Digital Digest

Law firm Harper Macleod has launched its Natural Futures Digital Digest, a three-day online series running from 24–26 February, created to explore the key legal, commercial and community issues shaping Scotland’s transition towards net zero. As Scotland continues its journey to a more sustainable future, sharing practical, sector wide insights has never been more important. The Digital Digest has been developed to bring together focused expertise on the opportunities and challenges emerging across Scotland’s natural capital landscape.

Designed for organisations, communities, policymakers and industry stakeholders, the series will provide practical guidance, perspectives and real‑world examples across core themes including renewable energy, community benefit, energy resilience and the growing role of data centres in Scotland’s infrastructure. Sessions will highlight how collaboration between communities, infrastructure and skills can help drive long‑term sustainable growth.

The Digital Digest forms part of Harper Macleod’s wider Natural Futures programme, supporting clients and partners to navigate the evolving natural capital, energy transition and sustainability landscapes. Chris Kerr, a partner in Harper Macleod’s corporate team, said:

“Scotland’s natural capital is at the heart of some of the biggest opportunities and challenges facing our economy, so, it’s important that organisations have access to clear, practical insights as the landscape continues to evolve. The Natural Futures Digital Digest is a chance for people across the sector to step back, hear from experts, and understand where the real opportunities lie. I’d strongly encourage anyone with an interest in Scotland’s sustainable future to join us and be part of the conversation.”
