OUR BOARD
Who We Are
Our board is diverse, engaged and active in The Chambers activities.
Selected following a nominations process that recognises contributions to enterprise, the community and environment as well as success and influence in the business community. Our board is a dynamic group of high achievers who work with the CEO and team to steer The Chamber.
They are responsible for growing The Chamber as a vibrant, exciting organisation.
Some of the basics:
Board members serve a two year term and serve a maximum of two terms.
They are expected to nominate a successor for consideration
They are selected by our nomination panel
2 board members are elected by our Future Leaders Forum
Board members attend all strategic partner events and as many regular events as possible.
Board members nominate a President and Vice President every two years.
FUTURE LEADERS FORUM
An engaged young group who are excited about the future and the role of business in creating it.
This is a place for excited soon to be entrepreneurs, startup's, professionals and more. The forum is the place to discuss the challenges of the day and how business can contribute to overcoming them.
The only caveat, you need to be under 30.

ENVOYS
Experienced local business leaders, ex board members and community actors.
Our envoys receive lifetime membership of The Chamber in recognition of their achievements and in exchange for providing mentorship, guidance and advice.
The envoy's include representation from the most significant non-profit's and community actors and work with our strategic partners when appropriate to increase their engagement and outcomes.
Envoy's work closely with our future leaders forum to help select their board nominations.
